Sorry folks, but it looks like there won’t be a puzzle this week. Things were going well, and this weeks puzzle was 80% finished, when I found that there was a fundamental, unfixable flaw in the theme. We care about quality here at Beekeeper Crosswords, even more than we care about our schedule, so we’re going to drop back 10 yards and try to come up with a particularly good puzzle for next week, rather than make you suffer with a broken or rushed puzzle this week.

Sorry folks, but between long-weekend travel and a software release, this week has just been too hectic to pull together a solid crossword. I promise that everything will come together next week for a solidly horrifying — take that as you will — Halloween puzzle.

It’s vacation time here at Beekeeper Labs, and that means that we’ve had other things on our minds than crossword puzzles.  (We find it hard to believe too, but apparently there *are* other things out there besides puzzles.  Who knew?)  This means that you *will* still get this week’s puzzle, but it will likely be a couple of days late.  Thanks in advance for your patience.

This Friday will be September 19th.  As many of you know, this makes it International Talk Like a Pirate Day.  Since we plan to commemorate the day with a special pirate-themed puzzle (as we did last year), we’re going to wait to post the puzzle until Friday morning.  Hopefully, you’ll find it worth the wait.  Yarrr!

That’s right folks, we here at Beekeeper Labs have done the unthinkable and actually taken time off from work.  So severe was this deviation from the norm that we haven’t even stopped to work up a new crossword puzzle for you.  But fear not — the puzzle will appear.  It will just be a day or two late.   Check back on Friday, and we should have something for you, and stop in next Wednesday at the usual time as we return to the usual grind and the usual schedule.  We’ll see you then!
